When should i start to look at buying 2010 World Cup Tickets???

I know that the world cup is in 2 years in South Africa, well i was wondering what would be a good time to start buying tickets for the games. I don't wanna buy them for like 500 euros like last world cup, 500 euros for crappy seats too. Anyways just wondering. Any thoughts were i can buy tickets online???
And how much the Price. Don't wanna buy them on ebay.

Answer 1 :
I would buy tickets as soon as your team qualifies, but thats taking a chance because you wont know what day or group the play, so I would probably wait till the draw.

now or any time soon they sell out qiuck

How much do you think a world cup football(soccer) ticket? will cost?

I am planning to go to the world cup in africa and i am wondering how much it would cost for a ticket, a decent ticket like u no where u c all the fans celebrating like crazy. I just want to go to a group stage ones that all

Answer 1 :
in 1994 when I went the first time it was $85.00 USD, then in
2002 when I went again they were 165.00 USD not including
Airfare. This year for the qualifiers they are running anywhere
from $35.00USD - $ 250.00 USD. I am looking for the ticket
prices to be in the $100.00 - $500.00 USD range with Air Fare
being so high that I better start paddling now if I'm gonna go!
Heck I might just save the Money and Get WORLD CUP on
PAY CHANNEL.

Answer 2 :
Yea like the other guy said, around $200 USD, and if you don't live in South Africa, you'll need a round trip airplane ticket there too, so that would cost a $1000 USD or so.

It will probably cost around $200 (US)

Why can't I get a World Cup Ticket? :(?

Why is it so difficult to get World Cup tickets, and at a reasonable price? I finally have the opportunity to go to a World Cup match that isn't on the other side of the world, but I haven't got any tickets!!! HELP!!!!!

Answer 1 :
Depends on which team you want to see, for many of the group games involving 2 of the lesser supported nations you may be able to get tickets.

You may even be able to get them on the black market at a reasonable price (possibly face value) if you turn up to the game and hang around outside the ground until the last minute. Don't worry about the fact that they have said that they will be cross checking passport ID with the name on the tickets, there is no way that this will happen.

If you want tickets for games involving England then you have no chance!

Answer 2 :
1:Sold out.2:Not enough $$$3:Too young

hey, tikets still availlable for a number of games, to attend the games, you have to be in Germany where the world cup will be held, understand?

Because you don't have that kind of cash. Better get cable like the rest of us, MF.

Why has it been impossible to buy world cup tickets from fifa, yet there are hundreds for sale by ticket touts

World cup tickets

Answer 1 :
Because the whole system was a crapshoot that meant real fans affiliated to their National Supporters Associations got tiny allocations.

I used to work at one of the big football sponsors and during Euro 2000, every employee had the option to buy tickets at a subsidised rate - most people bought them and then sold them on to desperate fans at a huge profit.

It's about the fact that the World Cup is now a way to make money and not about the football any more.

Totally agree with you. The whole syatem is a sham. The fat cats and the company directors line their greedy pockets and the football fans get taken for a ride

Answer 2 :
